Fire Adapted Site Resources
Wildfire is part of the Montana landscape. Fire adapted communities work to prepare for, respond to, and recover from wildfire. As all Montanans share wildfire risk, a fire adapted community approach emphasizes that everyone shares responsibility. This includes residents, businesses, policy-makers, land managers and emergency responders, as well as local, state, tribal and federal governments.
Please dig into the following resources to learn how you can lend your skills and knowledge to creating fire adapted communities across Montana. When you are ready, take action. Reach out to the Fire Adapted Montana Learning Network and we can connect you with local resources and partners.
